Day 1 – Samburu

Safari starts with pick up from a Nairobi hotel after breakfast or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport off morning flight. Depart Nairobi after safari briefing by Moige Tours & Travel representative driving north past the lush pineapple, coffee and tea plantation in Kenya's reach highland arriving Samburu in time for lunch. Lunch and leisurely afternoon before enjoying evening game drive. Samburu Game Reserve the semi-arid and rugged terrain whose main source of water is Uaso Nyiro River is popular for endemic species of reticulated giraffe, grevy zebra, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, gerenuk only found north of the equator. This desolate landscape is preferred home for some mammals and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the Elephant Bedroom Camp / similar.

Day 2 – Samburu

After breakfast enjoy full day in Samburu with scheduled morning and evening game. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Elephant Bedroom Camp / similar.

Day 3 – Samburu / Aberdare

Early morning wake up before heading for an early morning game drive in search of the nocturnal wild animals just before they give way to the day. Return to the lodge for breakfast before the transfer to Aberdare arriving at Outspan Hotel / similar, base hotel for the Tree lodge in time for lunch. Transfer in lodge vehicles to The Treetops Lodge / similar located right in the Aberdare National Park with small overnight bags while the rest of baggage is left at the base hotel. The decks and balconies at the Treetops Lodge are geared towards affording easy game viewing and photography. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the Treetops Lodge / similar.

Day 4 – Aberdare / Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, transfer back to the base hotel to rejoin your professional guide and drive southwards through the Rift Valley with the stop over at the spectacular Thomson falls before driving further to arrive Nakuru in time for lunch. Lunch and leisurely afternoon before enjoying scheduled evening game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its abundant birdlife. The Park offers a great chance to see thousands of greater & lesser flamingoes, pelicans around the shores of the lake alongside abundant mammals that include endangered rothchild giraffe, black & white rhino, buffaloes, waterbuck, elands, zebras among other species. Dinner and overnight at the Flamingo Hill Camp / similar.

Day 5 – Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast driving through the floor of the Great Rift Valley arriving Masai Mara in time for lunch. Lunch and leisurely afternoon before enjoying evening game drive from 1600hrs in Masai Mara. Masai Marae Reserve is the most popular reserves known for the big skies, open savannahs as featured in the film ''Out of Africa''. Also accorded the status of the seventh wonder of the world because of the annual wildebeest migration, the Mara too boasts of the ''big five'' (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion & leopard) plus plenty of plain wild animals that include wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, impala, topi, giraffe, thomson's gazelle, hyenas, cheetah, jackal, bat-eared foxes and birdlife. No wonder it is the shooting sight for BBC Big Cat Diary every year. Dinner and overnight at the Fairmont Mara Safari Club / similar.

Day 6 – Masai Mara

After breakfast enjoy full day in Samburu with scheduled morning and evening game. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Fairmont Mara Safari Club / similar

Day 7 – Masai Mara / Mombasa or Zanzibar

Depart Mara after early breakfast and drive back to Nairobi with a brief stop over at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment for sightseeing and photography en-route. Arrive Nairobi in the early afternoon hours for lunch at Carnivore restaurant / similar before the transfer to the airport in time for your evening domestic flight to Mombasa or Zanzibar (create links for the extension to Mombasa or Zanzibar).

Meet on arrival at Moi International Airport in Mombasa before the transfer to Tijara Beach / similar.

Day 8 to 10 – Mombasa

Day 11 – Depart

After breakfast enjoy leisurely morning before the transfer to the airport for your domestic flight from Mombasa to Nairobi. Connect onto your International evening departure flight
